#108 i painted for a really good friend, J Colby Smith, www.jcolbysmith108.blogspot.com
either Colby is obsessed with the number 108….or the number 108 is obsessed with him, either way i thought it would be appropriate to dedicate the number to him.

the two sheets of girls (#’s 109-116) were designed by Jack Dracula. I repainted them out of respect, may he rest in peace.

the Hot stuff riding the shark, i did for shark week, i was GOING to do a series of them for the whole week, but i’m way too lazy for that.

R.I.P.
thanks for looking.
Below is a 14 X 20 sheet (#’s 76-96) that i did, all of these designs are based off of and referenced from a collection of Tex Eddie Peace acetate stencils i bought from his grandson Daniel a couple of years ago. Tex Eddie Peace, started tattooing in the 1930’s with his wife Anne, i did this sheet, as a benefit for Anne and Tex Eddie Peace’s great grandson and Daniel’s son Carley Peace who was hit by a car in April, and was in critical condition for a few days before Passing away.
Carley Peace, 8 years lived…..forever loved. R.I.P.
so i decided that i was going to make an attempt at 365 paintings by new year.
a painting a day has how most of these have gone down, but between work, wife and kids it’s not as easy as it sounds. so there has been a few nights where i would stay up literally all night, till the sun was up catching up on paintings…in fact i’m about 5 paintings behind as it is….i should probably be doing that instead of posting this, but figured i would update this since it has been a while. so here are all the paintings that i have up to this point…
more tattoo photos to come soon.
